Top 5 Superhero Games on iOS in Australia: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, Australia's iOS market witnessed intriguing trends among the top superhero games, as highlighted by Sensor Tower's data.

DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. showed a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $105K towards the end of January. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 300 to 400 weekly, while active users experienced a gradual increase, culminating at around 5.2K by the end of March.

Marvel Contest of Champions by Kabam Games, Inc. saw a decline in both downloads and active users as the quarter progressed. Weekly downloads started at around 900 and tapered off to about 600. Active users followed a similar trend, dropping from 4.7K to just over 4K. Revenue, however, fluctuated, with a high of $72K at the start of January, before settling around $10K by the end of March.

MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG from Scopely, Inc. maintained a steady performance in revenue, averaging between $8K and $13K weekly. Downloads decreased over the quarter, starting at over 500 and ending at around 250. Active users showed a slight decline, dropping from 1.3K to below 1K.

Invincible: Guarding the Globe by Ubisoft displayed impressive growth. Revenue surged from $2.8K at the start of the quarter to nearly $30K by the end. Downloads showed a significant increase, reaching over 2.2K weekly, while active users grew from 2.2K to about 5.5K.

Lastly, DC: Dark Legion™ from FunPlus International AG, launched in March, rapidly gained traction with initial downloads peaking at over 10K. Revenue quickly climbed to over $46K, although a slight decrease was observed towards the quarter's end. Active users saw a spike to over 10K before settling down.
